Obdulio Velez, 64, of Chicago, passed away Friday July 8, 2016. Born in Puerto Rico on July 23, 1951. Beloved father of: Antonio Velez, Obdulio Velez, Jr., Monica Velez, Michael Velez, Daniel Velez, Andres Velez, Arianna Velez, Victor Alvarado, Jackie Sanchez, and Xensia Robles; loving Papi of 10 and great Papi of 1; dear brother of Carlos (Betty), Jose, and the late Raul (Barbara) Velez; fond uncle and great uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Castulo and Patria (nee Lopez) Velez. Visitation Monday July 11, 2016 from 3-9pm at The Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home 6901 W. Belmont Avenue where prayers will be said 10am Tuesday July 12, 2016 to St. Alphonsus Church (Wellington @ Southport) for an 11:00am mass of the resurrection.
