I believe you may take notice of how unbelievably difficult it is to express the thoughts held inside during this difficult time. I feel that you may now know more to my story; realizing how this is another nail driven in, even if you didn't know of what happened in your celestial form. You are now one with six of my closest friends who all passed within the last 3 years, the oldest only being 21. One of these people was our mutual friend and it almost feels like we're back in high school, and I envision you and Matt standing in a hallway, hanging out. A part of me has left with you just like it did with the others. Life can be beautiful, but it can also be relentlessly cruel. Although we didn't speak much near the end, I will always remember playing music with you. The more I think about all this, the more I go insane. Maybe a reassurance of "this isn't goodbye, it's cya later" and an ongoing resiliency is needed. In whichever case, I hope you and your family find peace. We all miss you buddy.

Words can not even begin to say how sorry I am. This is Steve New's mom. All I can say they were crazy together. Steve truly loved Nick. No matter where they were or what they did it was always a good time. Even just sitting at your house all summer driving you nuts. He was a very special and dear to our family. He will be missed dearly. I know that words can not fix anything but please feel free to contact Steve whenever you need. He will always be there for you. He always said that was his second home.

So very sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved son. I cannot imagine the pain you must be feeling.  My heart goes out to your family.  While no words can ease your pain, please know that during his short time with us, Nick touched many people's lives and he will forever be remembered in their hearts.

To the Wingo Family, although I didn't know you well, you were a friend of my son's. Yes you have been to my house a couple of times, times I'm sure will be remembered. Nick was the bass player for every show my band ever played. He learned all of our songs quickly and with ease, and had a great time doing so. I had a lot of fun with the guy whether or not we were playing music together. I'm going to miss him a lot, and my deepest condolences go out to his family, in their time of grief.

My heart and prayers go out to all of the family, and  friends of Nick. Nick and I became great friends a few years ago, and because of school and work, we sadly lost touch. We are deeply saddened by the passing of Nicholas.  It doesn't seem possible.  The entire family--especially Philip and Antoinette-- has been in our thoughts and prayers since we received the news. 

Unfortunately, due to some health issues, I will be unable to attend the services, but I will be there in thought and prayers.  It has been several years since we last saw Nicholas.  He was a fine young man.  I only wish I could have known him better.  There is no doubt you have many treasured, beautiful memories of the years he was with you and they will bring much joy and even laughter in the months and years ahead.  

May God give each one of you that peace that passes all understanding and comfort you in a very personal and special manner.  He will see you through this very dark hour and the days ahead if you just look to Him.
