Miriam was a God fearing Christian woman, who instilled her Christian values to all her children and grandchildren. She loved to sing Christian duets with her husband during church services while he played his guitar. On Saturdays, as part of her church ministry along with her husband, they would visit the ill and sometimes take their children to teach those Christian values. They would also visit friends and faithfully attend church services.
Miriam's favorite holiday was Thanksgiving because that gave her the opportunity to cook a big meal for all of her family, no one could top her famous stuffing and turkey. She was filled with joy to see her children and grandchildren eating and laughing together, the louder the family got, the better. She also loved the one on one time with her daughters, sons and grandchildren, when they would visit her home, of course she cooked their favorite meals during those visits. She loved and missed her home of Puerto Rico and frequently went back to her beloved Isla to visit family and friends. Several times, she packed everything and moved her entire family of kids to live and experience the beautiful Island of Puerto Rico as she did as a kid.
Miriam, the Matriarch of four generations will be dearly missed, loved and in our hearts forever.
Mami/Ita/Millyn, we will always love you. Bendicion.
