Maryann McGovern, daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away September 22, 2022 at the age of 79.
She was born to Alice Weichel and Dino Fioravanti on July 7, 1943. Maryann grew up in the city she loved Chicago. There she met her husband, Jerry McGovern. Together they had two children: Terry and Dean.
Jerry and Maryann built a life together in Schaumburg surrounded by family and friends. In 2005 they decided to start a new chapter and moved to Arizona to be part of their grandchildren’s lives.
Maryann’s love for family, friends, reminiscing, and conversation will always be remembered.
A funeral service is scheduled for 11am on Monday November 21st at Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home, with a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Alzheimer’s Association of America or American Cancer Society in Maryann’s name.
