I was wondering why I haven't heard from Mary. This was my aunt Mary's good friend. My aunt was Mary Costello. My name is Janice (Adelfio) Giffin. Sorry to have found put this way.

Dear Monte, Clifton, Lisa & Maria,  sorry under these times must I write, but my Dad told me the sad news.  I remember all of us as little kids at parties spending time together at Aunt Dana's house having good times and your Mom there too.   We are all getting older and not many of us left.  May you all hold on to the sweet memories of your Dear Mom and have peace knowing she had a long life and having her family there made it all seem worth while. Dear Monte, Clifton, Lisa and Maria...

Your Mom was such a special person to me and my family.  I have so many wonderful memories of her.  She was one of the first people who taught me that having a great spirt is ageless.  She was tremendously funny.  You may know this story, but it was your Mom who took my mom (Mary Sciortino Simpson) to the hospital when she was to deliver me.  We called her my father.

My 3 kids got a chance to meet her at my Mom's funeral (11 years ago). They fell in love with her, too.

I am sad she is  no longer on earth, but she will continue to send her strong spirit to those of us who are still here.
