Mary D. Dickenson, a resident of Chicago for many years, died on June 2, 2020. She was the daughter of the late George and Mary Agnes Dickenson and a graduate of Nazareth Academy in Kalamazoo, Michigan. For 28 years, she was the principal administrative assistant for the late Chief Judge Walter Cummings of the Seventh Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals in Chicago. She also served as President of the Legal Secretary Association in Chicago. She provided substantial financial support to St. Ita’s, Catholic Charities, the Salvation Army and many local charities.
