Mary J. Canchola, age 87, passed away on September 15th, 2023. Loving wife of late Ramon Canchola; Beloved mother of the late Christina (Mike) Groark, Sandra (Henry Rodriguez) Canchola, Ray (Elaine) Canchola, Sylvia (Tony) Mendez, Michael (Kim) Canchola, and Steve (Kathy) Canchola; Cherished grandmother of 17 and great-grandmother of 10; Dear sister of Alice (Armando) Manteca; Aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Mary was preceded by parents Miguel and Santos Diaz, and siblings, Betty Diaz, Norma Green, Josephine (Juan) Garza, and Alice (Pedro) Hernandez.
Friends and family will gather for a visitation for Mary that will be from 3 - 8 PM on Monday, September 25th, at Andrew J. McGann & Sons Funeral Home, 10727 South Pulaski Road, Chicago, Illinois. Funeral to begin at 8:45 AM on Tuesday, September 26th, at Andrew J. McGann & Sons Funeral Home, proceeding to St. Christina Church, 3342 West 111th Street, Chicago, Illinois for a 9:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park, Illinois.
