Our mother -- a woman like no other.  She gave us life, nurtured us, taught us, dressed us, fought for us, held us, shouted at us, kissed us, but most importantly she loved us unconditionally.
There are not enough words we can say to describe just how important our mother was to us and what a powerful influence she continues to be.
We love you mom.

I will miss Mama Neil for the rest of my life.  She was my second Mom.  Jack better watch out cause Mom is there to keep an eye on him now.  Love and prayers from Minnesota.

Another great lady is gone from us but never forgotten in our hearts. Marilyn was a great inspiration and strength to so many people. I was always amazed at her wit and her energy. She raised four beautiful women and I am so honored to have known her. Peace to her and your wonderful family.

Marilyn has been the corner stone of our church and will be sorely missed.  I can't think of anyone in the church I have respected more over the years.  She was always wise and patient and you knew that when she was in charge of the church kitchen everything would be done right.  She is now happy without pain and with your dad watching over you girls.

I'll miss Marilyn for many reasons, among them:

Ok, I've got to say it first off – Marilyn could organize anything, and did just that, quite often!!!
I'll especially miss her because she is the mom of some very dear friends of mine.  
She had a great laugh and I loved to hear her chuckle over something she had heard, especially the look in her eye when it was perhaps a bit naughty!
If you had Marilyn by your side, you would definitely have someone fighting for you and/or working with you.
She was an endlessly hard worker in so many ways and places.
She made some of the best bread and butter pickles I've ever had, not to mention her many different salads (ham, egg, German and American to name a few) plus so many other wonderful dishes that she shared at MPC.
I thoroughly enjoyed spending time in the church kitchen with Marilyn and others making oodles of finger sandwiches to serve at the MPC Christmas party.
She was very generous with her donations (fridge, freezer, entrance doors, etc) to MPC while she was alive, which also gave her the opportunity to see others enjoying her gifts.
Once Marilyn stopped driving but was still able to come to church, Lori and I often drove together to pick her up.  Her company, even for a short while, was wonderful and often entertaining.
She would often attend the MPC Praise service and it was great having her with us during those visits.
It has been sad not having Marilyn at MPC for much of her last couple of years.  I know how difficult it was for her to step back from being involved in MPC activities but most especially for her to miss worshipping with everyone. 
She was so good to and with Jake and that always touched my heart. Thank you especially for that Marilyn. 
Even though I know it was time for her to go, I will always miss having her down here on earth.  She is now at peace, no longer in pain and can see and eat anything (I'm sure she's got all her own teeth once again :)  Plus she is now with her hubby and all her other family members that she has missed.  How wonderful that must be for all of them.

I couldn't be there in person with you today, but my heart was there with you all day. Your Mom will be missed in so many ways. She was such a special lady. I will always remember all the fun times we had together. Keep her "Fun loving Spirit" going! My deepest sympathy goes out to the whole family.  Hugs and Prayers!!
