Alcorn, Maria “Lola”, nee Hernandez, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2022, at the age of 62 years. Lola was a loving mother of Joseph Louis Alcorn III, and Maria Dolores (Philipp) Alcorn-Burckhardt; cherished sister to Espiridion (Graciela) Hernandez, Carmen (Benny) Trevino, Maria Victoria (Candelario) Martinez, and Julia (Alejandro) Cambray; fond aunt to many nieces and nephews and a great aunt. Lola graduated from University of Texas at Dallas with a PhD. She enjoyed hiking/camping and dancing.
