Born to Amalia Carolina Leija and the late Juan Parrilla in Chicago, Illinois on the 28th of February,1967, Manny was the younger brother to Lucy Parrilla, whom he loved and cared for deeply.
For 31 years, Manny was a loving husband who spoiled his wife Belinda with gifts and romantic gestures. One of his many gifts to her was a necklace with the coordinates of their first date so that they could always remember where it all began.
As a proud and involved father to his two daughters Azalea Elizabeth Parrilla and Mireya Parrilla-Ocampo, Manny loved every part about being their dad and recently gained a son-in-law, Enrique Ocampo, whom he loved like his own.
Unlike most people, Manny was very fond of his job and showcased his strong work ethic every day as the Application Development Manager for the Chicago Park District.
Outside of his duties at work, Manny devoted himself to serving the Lord. Along with his wife, he led "Marriage on the Rock" and discipled young men and women as a ministry leader at Storehouse Church.
Although he is healed and reunited with the Father, and his unborn grandson, Manny's presence will truly be missed on earth.
