Dear  mother  we miss you so much we’re all fine and we just had another girl add it to the family. Do you have a great granddaughter I can’t remember her name sorry but she’s from John’s family. And Jake will be getting married in September and then Joe will be celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary. I wish you were here to share it with us. Love you and Tom so much rest in peace.🌹😘

It’s been two years since mom passed away. It really doesn’t feel like it’s been that long.We talk about her often maybe that’s why.
I feel she’s in a better place and she’s looking down on us her sister Angie  passed away this week hopefully they’ll pass each other along the way . i’m sure Mom would be very happy to know that Claudia had a baby boy name Thomas and Gina is finally getting married we all knew she would and that Jake  is engaged to Anna a woman he met in college. we all miss your mom and Tom Love you always🌹

My aunt Louisa always treated me like one of her own. No matter when I stop to visit, auntie would always say “ what are you doing here” in an affectionate way. There was always something good cooking and of course I’d be Sneaking a taste. Auntie Louisa u will truly be missed. Love u always, Gloria

There are so many cherished memories I have of Gramma. Two words that define her are resilient and nurturing.  Thank you for being a significant role model in my life.
You sustained a hard up bring in Kansas, raised 6 kids on your own, and endured back pain and broken ribs.  Yet, you always fought thru and never complained.  You were a tough cookie. I admire you for that.
The most memorable memory that I can truly appreciate is when Gram lived with me in Wisconsin for a few months to help care for my son Jake when he was a baby.  I will cherish that forever.  I was so lucky to be able to spend that time with her.  I also really appreciated her cooking.  One of my favorites was her pork chops with bacon, green beans and potatoes.  
I will miss you so much; you were one of a kind.   I love you Gram. Until we meet again.

Ma Louise will always hold a special place in my heart. I have so many memories of our special moments together. Her kindness, love and strength helped shaped the person I am today. She took a young girl/mother under her wing and blessed my life to fullness. I pay it forward every day because everyone should be full with love and happiness.  Our family is strong, happy, and close because this beautiful person sacrificed everything for her family. We are all lucky to be a part of her legacy. God bless you mom. I’ll never ever forget you. My family lived on the same block as Mrs. Louise Gomez & her beautiful family. That was on the 43rd & S. Ashland block.  I have such fond memories of that lovely,  tall, always smiling lady. Mother of 6; of which I remember mostly my buddy Rose & Tom, (RIP). My thoughts & prayers go with you all now. May God bless you all!

On Tuesday morning I learned that a very special friend and a great women who love dearly passed away. Mrs. Gomez I will always remember the fun me and you had going shopping and seating in the kitchen watching tv and just talking and laughing at your sons. I’m so glad that we became friends before you became my mother in law. I will missed you my friend but you will always be in my heart. God is happy because he has a new angel In heaven with him now. Today I lost a very dear friend who I love dearly . She was more than just a good friend she was my mother. My father always told me to take care of your mother.Being the only daughter with five brothers I always felt that it was my job more  than theirs to do so. Through the years I learn to love my mother Deeply and appreciate her Much more than I can say. We all love her in her own special way. I Believe she’s in heaven and Someday i’ll see her love always🌹

Dear Mrs Gomez, I will never forget seeing you coming down the stairs when you lived in the back apartment by Anita Ramirez. You were always so kind. May you Rest In Peace. 

When I was in fifth grade, my aunt Louisa gave me this blue sweater with the zipper in front. I wore that sweater all the time. It was the first Christmas gift from my aunt and I cherished  it. I used to always love teasing my aunt because she would laugh and “shoo” me away  saying,   “You’re crazy!” I Liked watching her while she enjoyed the mariachis at all of her parties. I love you and will miss you auntie💕
