She was born on December 1, 1932 to William Walter Fitzgerald and Anna Marie (Anderson) Fitzgerald in Chicago, Illinois and was a beloved only child to her loving parents. Kathleen graduated from Mary Queen of Heaven School and Nazareth Academy, both in Illinois where she enjoyed everything High School had to offer, except Math. Some of her happy memories included: dancing, roller skating, parties, dates, lots of homework, and even wearing lipstick for the first time. But she was most happy making her parents happy and proud.
Kathleen’s greatest accomplishment would be her son David and granddaughter Deidre. She earned 3 diplomas towards her career, which allowed her to travel from South America to the Arctic Circle and points East and West. One of her fond memories was walking into St. Peter in Rome and the magnificence of it. She was a well- respected Travel Agent for many years and got great joy helping people plan their wonderful vacations all over the world.
She is survived by her son David and granddaughter Deidre.
