Kate Aileen Sampson. Born September 1, 1988. Entered Eternal Life: December 22, 2017. Loving daughter of John Sampson and Kelly Sampson-Nelson. Loving step-daughter of Laura Sampson and step-sister to Taylor. Loving step-daughter to Bill Nelson. Loving sister to Ryan & Erin Sampson. Loving granddaughter to Joe. Loving niece, cousin and friend to too many to count. Preceded in death by James Sampson, Dorothy Sampson and Rose Bodkin. Kate loved the Chicago Fire Department, Engine 78 and the Chicago Cubs but her family and friends eclipsed it all. We are heartbroken that Kate lost her 4 year battle with Addison's Disease. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Matthias, Chicago on Thursday December 28th at 10:00 am.
Funeral luncheon immediately following service. Everyone is welcome to attend. Cremation to follow.
