John Robert Smith Sr.

John Robert Smith Sr., 57 years old of Chicago, IL passed away suddenly and unexpectedly from cardiovascular disease on September 2, 2020. John is loved very deeply by his beloved wife of 40 years Michele "Mama" Smith, his two sons John Jr. and Brian and of course the light of his life, his granddaughter Emily Grace.

Visitation Tuesday from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm with a Chapel Service at 3:00 pm at Ridge Funeral Home (Edward A. Tylka Manager/Director), 6620 W. Archer Ave., Chicago, IL 60638. Interment private.

John will leave a void that can never be filled in all of our hearts. John was one of a kind and there will never be anyone like him. He was genuine, caring and had the biggest heart. John was passionate about cars, all music and the great outdoors! We will forever cherish the time we had with John and he will be deeply missed.
