Beloved husband of Jean L. nee Gray; cherished father of the late John B. Jr. (late Mary Jo); loving father/uncle of Jimmy (Kathleen) Gray; also loving father figure to Quinten and Scot; devoted grandfather of Jean Marie, John B. III and Anthony James; dear brother of Jim (Anne), Phillippa (Patrick) and the late Rose (Chris), late Sheila, late Dolores and the late Patricia; fond uncle, cousin and friend of many. John will be loving remembered for taking care of his family. He was also a dedicated employee with Peoples Gas and the Cook County Sheriff's Department

Memorial visitation, Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm. Interment Mount Olive Cemetery, 3800 N. Narragansett Ave in Chicago.
