I'll always remember how kind, compassionate & extremely devoted Angel was.  I've been thinking of Jodie for a few weeks now, knowing her through Angel's remembrances of their life together.  Prayers for the progress of her soul continues.  

My Aunt was a very special woman who I owe everything to because if it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t be here today. My aunt shield me when I was just a small infant baby. Aunt Jodie jumped on top my baby stroller when we were crossing the street as a big green metal stop light post came falling down. She suffered a bad back injury. I’m so grateful for her. 

When I was a lost teenager my aunt brought me to God. I just realized as I drove past the place the other day that it was a Assembly of God church. The same exact church I decided to draw near to out in Minnesota when I finally wanted to get right again. I never knew that.  Thank you auntie for bringing me forward to His word. She is so inspirational and I will miss everything about her. Gone but never forgotten always and forever. 

I worked with Jodie at Labelmaster for 13 years, from day one she was always so kind to me as well as others.  Even if she was frustrated with someone,  she was able to smile about it and make light of it.  I think we tend to go "over the top" when we lose a soul, saying how nice they were, what a good person, etc.. but with Jodie it's completely genuine and just.  She was such a good soul, we don't have enough of those in the world and I thank her for touching my life in such a positive way.

My beutiful loving sweet cusin you will be missed  another angel in the heavens I love you Jody Adcox when we were kids my parents brought me over to your house all the time we would have to much fun staying up pj party's and games and talked till the morning I loved when we all would go on the hill in the winter time and go sledding down the hill and smash into the gate lol and do it again and again and when we went in aunt Arma would have hot cocoa and warm soup and we cuddle in blankets and watch cartoons and movies and at night tell scary stories we were so good at that it would scare the heck out of me but I loved it and we would spy on cuzzo Larry and Kimmy Shannon lol and spy on uncle Larry aunt Arma and my momma Marie Adcox and my dad  Amos Adcox it was so cute we grew up had children and families of our own and kinda separated Abit doing are own thing with our families ect but when I think back at everything we did when we were kids it's like yesterday to me I'm going to miss you but one day I'll be with you I love you Jody Adcox love always and forever your cuzzo April Adcox .

Aunt Jodie I will always cherish your genuine hugs and warm smiles you were always so kind and sweet to me Valerie and little David I always loved how welcomed you made me feel How thoughtful you were to Grandma Irma and Grandpa Larry and how much you enjoyed helping and taking care of others I always admired how proud you were to take care of your husband and family you reminded me of my grandma in that way. My family  and I will miss you so much  Rest In Peace Aunt Jodie. 

Mom I don’t know how to do this without you. I love you so much I could never have asked for a better mother. Every phase I went through, every style I embraced, none of it ever mattered to you. You were with me every step of the way and always loved and accepted me for who I was. I don’t know how to accept that you will never meet my first child or that we never got to have the wedding you were helping me plan. All I know is that you are finally at peace. This illness took you from me and now I will do everything I can to try to teach others about it so another amazing mother will not be taken away too early.

I love you always and forever mom. You mean the world to me. 

Jodie you were a ray of sunshine everywhere you went. You always made my kids and I feel welcomed with your kindness. Thank you for being the beautiful soul that you are. You will never be forgotten. God gained a beautiful angel. I have so many memories with you from Thanksgiving cookouts etc. But the one that stands out the most is 1st when my son passed away you were there along with my brother trying to help as much as you can through my tragedy and that i will never forget.and 2nd the last visit i had with you. You gave me something to decorate my sons resting place. Still thinking about Brandon years later... I can see the light of your eyes when you were talking about your daughther Amandas upcoming wedding. You were so proud and happy talking about the wedding plans the theme and the color of dresses. Life is so unfair. But god called his beautiful Angel home. Rest well my beautiful sister in law. I love you

Jody I have know and work with you for 30yrs  Labelmaster was our home away from home. You have left a imprint  in our hearts  Labelmaster will not be the same.  You were always giving & smiling.   I remember the Resurrection Easter  play I brought our children from church  they had a wonderful time you were so kind to them. JUST AN ANGLE.  I have a lifetime of memory I will cherish.  Love You. My dear, sweet friend..there are no words to express how grateful I am that I was blessed with a friend like Jody (Jodie).  We have been friends since we met at Labelmaster in 1989.  I have so many fond memories, some of the best in my life, with her.  She had a "heart of gold" and was one of the most funniest and fun people I have ever met.   She always, always thought about others before herself...a kind, beautiful soul.  Heaven gained a new angel, a perfect angel, because she was already an angel here on Earth.  I love you my beautiful friend, I miss you already..but I will say it again..this is not "goodbye" but "I will see you later".  Rest in Peace my friend.  

Thanks to everyone for sharing the beautiful pictures of Jodie!  Thank you Angel, for sharing your life's memories with me, I feel like I know her even though we've never spoken together. Whenever I play or even think about Rummy, Jodie comes to memory.  I met Jodie at Labelmaster over 24 years ago and formed a friendship playing Rummy every lunch period.  Jodie was the sweetest person ever who I credit for my current job in the retirement industry, you see, Jodie gave up that job offer so I can pursue a new career path, that's just the type of person Jodie was, caring and selfless.  Jodie you are forever in my heart and will truly be missed, gone but not forgotten.  My deepest condolences to the family.

Met Jodie at CT back in the day my very first time doing the story of love and she was in it also we were in it for the next year got to know her an angel. Had dinner at the house a few times I'm going to miss Jodie. I will keep the whole family in prayer will miss you Jodie I've always loved Jodi's hair. So sweet of person she was so kind you're with God now and you're okay love you Jodie

To my beautiful sister-in-law Jodie, I would like to start by thanking you for being such an inspiration and such an important person in my brother Angel's life. The love you two shared was undeniable, beautiful and true. I will truly miss your smile, laughter and more importantly your gentle and caring soul. It is with a heavy heart that I must accept the fact that your physical presence will no longer be, yet it brings me comfort to  know that you are no longer suffering here on earth but instead with our Lord and  feeling no pain,  just joy and everlasting bliss. Know that you will be greatly missed my beautiful sister and you will always live in our hearts and memories. Thanks for being part of my life as well. I am a better person for knowing you as I'm sure this to be true of everyone you've touched.

I have so many wonderful memories of my Aunt Jodie but I guess what stands out the most is going to yard sales and thrift stores with her. I remember she would come pick up my mom, Shannon,  my sisters, and I and we would shop for hours. We were always looking for the best deals! Sometimes I would laugh about it but I still go thrift store shopping to this day.My Aunt Jodie had the kindest heart out of anyone that I know. She was always looking for a way to help others and praying for everyone. She had a heart of gold and there was not a mean bone in her body. There isn't a lot of people out there like that. She was a strong woman and a fighter and I think it got too tough and God wanted her to be at Peace. She is a beautiful Angel in Heaven now shining down on all of her loved ones. Her memory will live on forever, and she will never be forgotten. RIP Aunt Jodie I love you more than words can say.

May you shine next to the brightest stars in heaven, your someone special that will truly be missed. Love you Jodie .

I can't find the words to express just how sorry I am about Jodie's passing.  She was one of a kind for sure, and her ever smiling face and upbeat nature will be sorely missed.  I am glad I had the pleasure of knowing and working with her the past 12 years, and I've give anything to hear her page "call Jodie at extension 2292" one more time.  My heart goes out to you and the entire family, with deepest sympathy.

From the first time I meet you,  you made me feel at home.  You and my cousin would make sure we all had what we needed plus more.   You gave warm hugs and you would smell so good.  Your house also  smelled  good with candles you had burning (which I invested in some thanks to you).   You made my favorite Sanganito very happy and I loved you more for that.   I will miss your hugs, your soft voice and your beautiful smile.   Rest well beautiful you will be missed and forever loved Jodie.  ❤

Jodie was a beautiful person in and out.  We worked together at Labelmaster for 9 years.  She was always very helpful, caring, loving and will stop what she was doing to help you.  God has gained a beautiful angel.


I have no words to express how heartbroken I am to have heard that Jodie was gone.  She was a sweet, kind, and entirely wonderful person.  I'm so glad I knew her.  I'm so sorry that she was taken so young.  My heart goes out to Angel and her children and grandchildren and all of her friends and family.  I hope she has found freedom from the suffering she endured during her illness.  I promise that I will never forget her.  God bless you all.
