ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL – Jennie Rose Rosselli, a loving wife, adored mother, cherished grandmother, recent great grandmother, devoted aunt and godmother, passed away on April 17, 2024, at the age of 80.
Born on April 24, 1943 in Chicago, Jennie Rose was the only daughter of Josephine Ciaccio and Charles Arcuri. On October 19, 1963, Jennie Rose was married to Robert Rosselli of Chicago. For nearly 60 years, they enjoyed a full and rich life together of traveling and raising their family in Chicago and Schaumburg. Jennie Rose was preceded in death by her husband Robert on March 17, 2023.
The legacy of Jennie Rose Rosselli is found in the lives of her family. Over 30 years ago, Jennie Rose and Robert purchased a house at Apple Canyon Lake where the family enjoyed countless laughs and loving times at “The Lake House.”
Jennie Rose loved to cook and was always in the kitchen at family gatherings and holidays. While she dined at great restaurants throughout her life, she loved to say she had been to a famous restaurant “on TV,” or learned the latest recipes from the chefs on Food Network.
Jennie Rose is survived by her daughter Lisa Gentry (Thaddeus) of Schaumburg and was preceded in death by her daughter Gina Bartuch of Schaumburg.
She is survived by her grandchildren: Samantha Bolander (Joshua) of Stamford, CT, Jeremy Gentry of Schaumburg, Tina Bartuch and Toni Bartuch of Chicago, and her first great grandchild Jaxon Bolander. Jennie Rose is also survived by many nieces and nephews, along with lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 6, at 10:00 am, with a Funeral Mass immediately following at St. Hubert Catholic Church, 729 Grand Canyon Street, Hoffman Estates, IL.
