Jane Holmes, nee Murphy, age 83, of Chicago, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2019. Loving wife of 39 years to the late Raymond Holmes; Beloved mother to Anne Marie (Robert) Mueller, Colleen (Steven) Lipe, and Brian (Ann) Holmes; Cherished Nana to Brian (Sarah), Morgan (Katherine), Nora, and Raymond; Adored Great-Nana to Reagan, Jack, and Holly; Dear sister to the late Mary Rita (Robert) Stump, the late Morgan (late Charlene) Murphy, the late Carol Ann Murphy, RSM, the late Rev. John Michael Murphy, and Bernard (Virginia) Murphy; Aunt, great-aunt, and cousin to many.
Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, June 5th at St. John Fisher Church, 10234 S. Washtenaw, Chicago. Visitation will occur prior to Mass from 10-11:30 AM, at the Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation, 3 Columbus Circle, 15th Fl, New York, NY 10019.
