Hugh Patrick Gallagher, 81, of Vernon Hills, IL passed away on May 4, 2023. He was born on May 26, 1941 in Arranmore, County Donegal, Ireland to Hugh Patrick and Mary Gallagher.
Hugh is survived by his loving children Kevin (Kathy Lenzi) Gallagher and Sean (Nellie) Gallagher; his loving companion of many years Chanelle Abrazado; his loving great granddaughter Brooklynn Hardt; and many loving family and friends survive Hugh.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Vince and Michael Gallagher; and his former wife and mother of his children Judy Betz.
A Visitation will be held from 4 pm – 8 pm on Monday May 8, 2023 at Drake and Son Funeral Home, 5303 North Western Avenue, Chicago, IL 60625. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 am on Tuesday May 9, 2023 at Drake and Son Funeral Home. A burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery.
