Hermenegildo Acopiado Fertig, 58, of Chicago passed away Sunday, December 27, 2015. Born in the Philippines on Saturday, April 13, 1957 to the Late Enriqueta A. Acopiado and the late Philip Fertig. Beloved of Arthur (Veronica), Florence (Teofilo) Bagalanon, Filomeno (Merlinda) Fertig, Hermenegildo (Joe McAte) Fertig and Manolito (Marietta) Fertig; cherished uncle to many nieces & nephews. Visitation Sunday 3-9 pm at The Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home 6901 W. Belmont Avenue, Chicago where Novena will be at 5:30 pm a followed by Mass at 6:30 pm, Officiated by Fr. Nelson Garcia. Services conclude Sunday evening after visitation.
