Loving mother of Eileen Chavez (Ben Perez), Mary (the late Carlos) Villafan, George (Lynne) Svetkovich, and Joseph (Lyne) Svetkovich; loving grandmother of Tony (Scott) Villafan, Kathy (Abby) Chavez, George (Megan) Svetkovich, Phillip Villafan, Christine (Paul) Svetkovich, Brian (Jenny) Villafan, Carla Villafan, Matthew (Sue) Svetkovich, Paddy McDermott, Jane Alberts, Charlie (Dawn) McDermott, Amy (Mike) Duddleston, and Chris (Sheila) McDermott; cherished great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend of many. Preceded in death by her husband, the late George Svetkovich, her son, the late Richard Svetkovich, and her siblings, the late Joe O'Malley, Mary Joyce, and Noreen O'Malley. Helen was a devote Catholic and a very dedicated and involved member of her parish of St. Symphorosa. She will be greatly missed. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 10th, at 10:00am from Ridge Funeral Home, 6620 West Archer Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60638, to funeral mass at St. Symphorosa Catholic Church at 10:30am.
