Gordon A. Nystrom, fondly known as “Butch” or “Gordy,” age 84, of Chicago Jefferson Park area, beloved husband for 62 years to Karen, née Browne; loving father of Michael (Jennifer) Nystrom, Linda Nystrom, and Cindy (Brian) Abbinanti; ecstatic grandfather of Samantha (“Stinker-Binker”), Scott (“Wiggles”), Caleigh (“Button”) and Allison (“Snickers”). Gordon was a proud Business Representative of Carpenter’s Union Local 58 and veteran of the US Air Force. He will be greatly missed.
