Frank Ruggiero

Frank Ruggiero, age 94, of Chicago, Illinois passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022. Beloved son of the late Jack (Giacobbe) Ruggiero and the late Carmella Ruggiero (nee Corsaro). Beloved husband to the late Carole Ruggiero (nee Breitzke) was married to her 1956 and current husband to Maria Ruggiero (nee Sosnowska). Cherished father to Carla (Ed) McKee, Frank (Sue, nee Kazmarek) Ruggiero, Mark (Lynn nee Mattes) Ruggiero, Jay (Jane, nee Kettner) Ruggiero, Dave ( Kathy, nee Gustavson) Ruggiero. Adored grandfather to Tina McKee, Carole McKee, Jacquelyn DeLaurentis (Sam DeLaurentis), Jenna Ruggiero, Nick Ruggiero, Tommy Ruggiero, Michael Ruggiero, Jeremy Ruggiero, Tony Ruggiero, Jacob Ruggiero, Karen Ruggiero, Angie Ruggiero. Luke Ruggiero and Matthew Ruggiero. Adored great-grandfather to Gavin, Emmett, Caleb, Theo Delaurentis, and Gabby Ruggiero. Fond brother to the late Antoinette Jurasic (Nee Ruggiero), the late Albert Ruggiero, Angeline Cacciottolo (nee Ruggiero), the late Vito Ruggiero, the late Lucille Mikicich (nee Ruggiero), the late Rose Austin (nee Ruggiero), the late James Ruggiero, the late Natale Ruggiero, the late Grace Cimo (nee Ruggiero), the late Stella Ruggiero and Millie Fabbiano (nee Ruggiero).

Frank honorably served in the navy for two years, and was honorably discharged Dec 11, 1947. Graduated from Tilden tech High School and worked for Spector Freight and CTA for many years. He was a devoted member of the American Legion, Post 735.

Visitation for Frank will be on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 from 3:00 pm. to 8:00 pm., at Ridge Funeral Home, (Edward A. Tylka, Manager), 6620 West Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60638. Prayers on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 9:30 am at Ridge Funeral Home, 6620 W. Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60638. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am., at St. Daniel the Prophet Church, 5300 S.
