Edwin Charles Budney was called to Eternal Life on May 21, 2016 at the age of 95 years. Ed was a resident of Chicago since birth, moving to Delafield in 2010 in Wisconsin with his family, and in 2013 to Veteran’s Home of Union Grove. Beloved Husband of the late Marion Ethel. Loving and honorable father of Barbara (John) Bauer, Carolyn (Paul) Nuccio, Patricia (Montgomery) Matlock and Doreen (Jacob) Schwalbach. Dearest grandfather of Zachary, Jude, Graham, Claire and Luke. Honorable Veteran of WWII serving in the Aleutian/Pacific Campaign 1943-1946. Honorable Soldier to Country and Prayerful Warrior of Christ.

Visitation Friday 8-10:45 AM at Malec & Sons Funeral Home, 6000 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago. Prayers to begin at 10:45 AM at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Tarcissus Parish, 6020 Ardmore, Chicago. Interment Maryhill Cemetery, Niles.
