On December 1st, 2023 Edin Gamboa,age 25, Passed away peacefully after battling against cancer for the past 8 months. He was born on August 19, 1998 being the first born child for both his mother Myriam Perez and his father Edin Gamboa.
His passions and interests branched throughout many things, which unveiled his outgoing personality. Edin was a sports fan to teams such as The San Francisco 49ers, White Sox, Chivas, Real Madrid and of course the National Mexican Soccer team. Another interest that brought happiness to his life was music, especially Electronic dance music, one of his favorite djs being Illenium. Edin loved to attend music festivals with his girlfriend Mariana along with his friends & family. Throughout these hobbies he came across different groups of people who all describe him as a radiant person, and someone who influenced the lives of those who have had the privilege to meet him.
The most significant factor that he instilled within his character was the importance of family. Being the oldest brother to Ahilynne, Christopher, Samira, Ulysses, Tamira, and Mateo, he was the perfect role model. Always reminding them to not only strive for excellence, but to ultimately be a good human; no matter how hard life gets. Edin spent a significant amount of his time not only creating beautiful memories with his siblings & parents, but with all his cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Although it pains us that he is gone, Edin demonstrated his strength while battling cancer by always holding his head up high, having a magnetic smile, and laughing up until his last days.
He leaves behind his parents Edin Gamboa & Myriam Perez, his step parents Pedro & Brandi, his siblings Ahilynne, Christopher, Samira, Ulysses, Tamira, Mateo, his god mother Veronica, and his Girlfriend Mariana; Along with the rest of his loving family & friends.
We are glad that Edin is free and at peace.
