Edgar Rafael Candelario

He was the loving brother of Alida , the late Angel, Jamie, and Gualberto, Anna , Xavier, Victor, and Wilfredo. He was the fond uncle and great uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Edgar was a 10 yr. US Army veteran. He served in Korea and Desert Storm.

He was long time employee of the US Postal Service, Working at the Skokie Post Office.

His greatest passion was music. He played guitar, piano, and assorted percussion instruments. He also played at his church.

He will be missed by many.

A visitation for Edgar will be held Monday, November 22, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home, 6901 West Belmont Ave, Chicago, IL 60634. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 6901 West Belmont Ave, Chicago, IL 60634. A committal service will occur Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421.
