Dennis Johnson

Dennis Johnson, age 88, of Chicago, Illinois passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, March 5th, 2024. Beloved husband and high school sweetheart of 68+ years to Lila Johnson (nee Pierce); Loving father of Steve (Debbie) Johnson, Kurt (Jackie) Johnson, Jim (Diane) Johnson; Adoring Papa of Alyssa, Arthur, Sara, Allie, Jake, Christopher, Kimberly and Lila; Great-Papa of Aria, Elijah, Ezra, Elliot; Fond friend and neighbor to many.

Dennis owned and operated Johnson's Painting and Decorating for over 50 years. Dennis took pride in the beautifying of homes for families throughout the neighborhood and Chicago land area.

Friends and family will gather for a memorial visitation for Dennis that will be held on Saturday, March 16th, 2024 from 9:30 am until 11:00 am, with a memorial service to immediately follow beginning at 11:00 am at Trinity United Methodist Church, 9848 South Winchester Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60643.
