Born in Baguio City, Mountain Province, Philippines, Crispin earned his Bachelors in accounting from the University of the East, Manila. He worked for the Philippine Department of Finance before immigrating to the United States. He worked briefly at Illinois Bell before settling into his longtime career at the Illinois State Industrial Commission.
In retirement, Crispin loved watching the news and Jeopardy, music, and getting a good night’s sleep.
Son of the late Raymundo Almazan and Victoria Sino Cruz Almazan.
Beloved husband of Alice Valencia Almazan and the late Rosa Santos Almazan.
Adored father of Marie Cris (Robert) Parrino, Marie Rose (Ravi) Ramanathan, Marie Vic (Victor) Genel, and Marie Fe (Fred) Lucero. Loving step-father of Price (Marsie) Hizo, Marie Louella “Lovely” (Noel) Cruz, and Marie Elise “Honey” (Wilbert) Licodini.
