Charles A Vera

Born in Chicago, Illinois on April 4, 1950, Charles was the son of the late Maximiano and Grace Vera (Cardenas). Chuck Vera was a graduate of Onarga Military School before becoming a member of the Chicago Police Department for 37 years. Growing up, he was in a local neighborhood band called The Sarcastics composed of friends and family. He loved music and was self taught on the drums, piano, guitar, and various other instruments. He later joined the American Knights of Chicago MC where he made many close friendships. Chuck deeply loved his family and enjoyed being in his yard with a cigar, coffee and his favorite music.

In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by his sister Natalie Cavaliere. Chuck is survived by his wife of 55 years Judy; daughters, Patricia Silva (Marco), Melissa Vera (Robert), Michelle Vera (Jeff); Grandchildren Nicholas Vera, Christian Silva (Nicole), Robert Vera, Jacob Vera, Gabriella Silva; sister Mercedes Pincente. Loving Uncle to countless nieces and nephews.
