Cesar “Chou” P. Flores was born in Cavinti, Laguna Philippines on November 30, 1954 and passed away at the age of sixty-five in Chicago, Illinois, on April 15, 2020. Beloved husband of Dr. Gloria Flores (nee Cabael). Beloved son of the late Isidro Flores and the late Nemensia Principe. Dear brother of late Belen (Angel), Aurelia (Domingo), Lilia (Maximo), Maximina (Dominador), late Jovito (Paning), Nilda (Avelino), Nelson (Elvira), Elma, and Dulce (Alex). He was a fond uncle, brother-in-law, cousin, Godfather and friend to many.
Cesar graduated from Cavinti Academy, received his Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Mechanical Engineering from Feati University, and Licensed Practical Nursing from Americare Technical Institute. At the time of his passing, he was a Restorative Nurse.
A dedicated civil servant, Cesar served three consecutive terms as Councilor of Cavinti, Laguna between July 1, 1998 to June 30, 2004. One of his many accomplishments was the authoring of a municipal ordinance to have a public high school, Cavinti National, erected in his hometown. To this day, the school continues to educate students of Cavinti and neighboring town.
Cesar's lovable smile, kind nature, and sense of humor will live in the hearts and minds of everyone with whom he interacted. He was a gentle soul who loved singing, traveling, and cooking.
A memorial service of his life will be held at a later date.
