Barbara Ann Zak

Barbara Ann Zak nee Owens, 80, August 9, 2017, of Skokie. Beloved wife of the late Peter Zak, cherished mother of Kevin (Kay) Overpack, Lynn Overpack and Carla Hayes; fond and loving grandmother of Colleen (Marcus) Lyles, Sean, Peter and Michael Gaffney, Thomas (Sandra Garcia), Matthew and Kaitlyn Overpack, Nicholas and Connor Hayes, and the late Christopher Gaffney; dear great-grandmother to Aiden, Emily and Audrey Lyles and Elliot Overpack; dear sister of Michael (Patricia) Owens; dear aunt of Charlene, Jennifer and Katie and the late John and Edward. Barbara also leaves to cherish her memories, many dear friends, including Kathy, Millie & John, Joyce, Brenda and countless others. We will be celebrating her life at a memorial service Saturday, September 9th, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Drake & Son Funeral Home, 5303 North Western Avenue, Chicago. Internment private.
