Alicia was originally from McAllen, Texas. She worked and retired from Western Electric after working there for 28 years.

Alicia, was recently widowed from her second husband of 48 years, Olivo Contreras, and loving mother to their son, Olivo Contreras, Jr. Alicia widowed from her first husband of 10 years, Daniel Saenz Jr and loving mother to their four children, the late Daniel Saenz III, Delilah (late Heriberto) Delgado, William (Loretta) Saenz and Edward Saenz. Cherished grandmother of 13, great-grandmother of 25, and great-great-grandmother of 3. Daughter of loving parents, the late Juan Angel Moreno and Maria Luisa Cabrera de Moreno, dear sister and brother Blanca (late Candelario) Ramos, Rachel M. (Michael) Keller, Guadalupe M Saenz, Mario (Raquel) Moreno, Angel Moreno and the late Angelita (Jose) Aguilar and Ruben (late Lucky) Moreno. Fond aunt to many nieces and nephews and loving in-laws Contreras and Saenz familia who were more like sisters and brothers to her.
