Alice Teresa Marek

Alice Teresa Marek (née Kelly), age 85, of Grayslake, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 18, 2024. Alice was born in Kilkenny, Ireland, on October 21, 1938 to the late Bernard and Mary Kelly. Beloved wife of the late Robert Marek; dear sister of Kathleen (the late Phil) Corridon, Maureen Kelly, and the late Teresa Kelly; and brothers Patrick Kelly and the late Benny Kelly.

Sister-in-law of Evelyn (the late George) Biard, the late Dennis Marek, the late Joseph (Marcia) Marek, Lorraine (Kenneth) Malecki, Dolores (the late James Isacson) Marek, Jerome (Angela) Marek, Richard (Marcia) Marek, and the late Audrey Marek (the late Carter). Loving aunt of Laura, Mark, Dawn, Russell, Randall, Matthew, John, Jeff, David, Steven, Billy, Peter, Kenneth, Thomas, Daniel, Claudia, Holly, Monica, Catherine, Chris and Jeremy.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Malec & Sons Funeral Home, 6000 North Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60646. Chapel prayers will occur at 11:30 AM, followed by a graveside service at 12:00 PM at Maryhill Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleum, 8600 North Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714. Luncheon to follow.
