Abel is survived by his loving wife Teresa Alvarez de Lopez, his cherished children Alicia Lopez (Hugo Hernandez), Armando Lopez (Aracelia Lopez) and Abel Lopez Jr.. His beautiful grandchildren, Monica Lopez, Adrian, Lopez, and Raul Lopez. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents †Jesus Lopez and †Margarita Garcia amd his beloved in-laws †Jose Maria Alvarez and Esther Nolasco.
