William “Bill” E. Weber, age 93, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2023. Born April 12, 1930 in Cleveland, he had been a longtime resident of South Russell. Bill was a graduate of Castle Heights Military Academy in TN, and later graduated with a business degree from Hiram College. In his younger years among many interesting and diverse jobs, he played the Piccolo on a show boat on the Ohio River. In 1953, Bill and his brother Bob opened Weber’s Ice Cream Co. in Euclid, selling handmade ice cream and sweets. In the early 1970’s, the brothers transitioned the business to Weber’s Health Foods, which still remains open to this day. Bill dedicated his life to helping others through his businesses and other activities. He was most know as a loving and devoted husband and father. Bill’s family would like to send a tremendous thank you to all of the current and past Weber’s staff for their devotion to the businesses and their customers. Bill is survived by his daughter Christie Weber and her husband Steve Voigt; and sister-in-law Clara Weber. He is preceded in death by his wife Sharon A.
