It is with a heavy heart to announce the passing of William David Imrie, age 88, of Chardon, Ohio formerly of Kirtland. He passed away peacefully with family on November 7, 2024. He was born July 8, 1936 in Cleveland to Bertram and Leah Imrie. Predeceased by sister Ruth Nichols.
Devoted spouse of Laureen and dearest father of Cynthia D’Alessandro (Michael) and Melinda Bakos (Anthony). Loving step father of David Pierce, Kathleen Harrison (David), Timothy Pierce, Paul Pierce (Ashley). Beloved Grandfather of 14 and Great Grandfather of 9.
He worked at Lakeland Community College for 32 years followed by being a Financial Counselor to many until the age of 76.
He was an avid Cleveland Indians fan.
His passion and faith in the Lord touched all that knew him. Dave’s kind spirit, generosity and compassion touched the lives of all that knew him. And we will always carry his memory in our hearts forever.
