Virginia E. Mazza, 73, of Concord Township, passed away Jan. 6, 2011, at her residence. Born Aug. 18, 1937, in Cleveland, she had lived there before moving to Concord Township. She was a member of Saint Gabriel Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and being the best Nana to her five grandchildren. Mrs. Mazza had worked as an inspector in quality at Swagelok in Highland Heights for 15 years. Survivors are her husband, Columbus; daughter, Kimberly; son, Larry (Connie); grandchildren, Francesca, Nicholas, Stephanie, Samantha and Alexis; sisters, Joanne (Vince) Teodosio, Carol Hinko, Elaine Germano and Eleanor (Jim) Albanese; brother, Anthony (Gloria) Germano; sister-in-law, Rosemary (John) Pace; brothers-in-law, Vince (Alice) Mazza and Frank (friend, Marian Piza) Mazza; and nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Connie (nee DelGrosso) and Anthony; brother-in-law, Jerome Hinko; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dominic and Edea Mazza. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St., Mentor. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011, at Saint Gabriel Church, 9935 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Concord Township. Father Frederick Pausche will officiate.
