Richard Joseph Clark, age 93, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Holly Hill in Newbury Township, Ohio. He was born April 8, 1930, in Akron, Ohio to John and Ellen Clark, one of eight children. Richard was a Local 38 Electrician for more than 70 years. He married Rosemary Elaine Millet on May 3, 1952, at St. Helen’s Church, Newbury, Ohio they were married for 68 years.
Richard truly lived life to the fullest through the simple pleasure of enjoying his family, home and fishing whenever he could at the Lake Erie Islands. There was nothing better to him than frying up fresh caught walleye. He is survived by a brother William Clark, his three children; Sandra Schaab (Joseph), Dick Clark (Denise), Stacey Castle (Charles); 8 grandchildren; Joshua Schaab, Christina Osborne, Rich Clark (Dana), Ryan Clark (Erin), Emilee Latini (Dennis), Ross Clark (Angelina), Charles Castle and 11 great grandchildren. Family, friends, and others whose lives Richard touched are invited to the Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home located at 12524 Chillicothe Road., Chesterland, on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, to reminisce and support each other. Visitation is from 10:30am until 12pm with a service beginning at 12pm. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park of Russell Township.
