Paul was born February 11, 1924 in Cleveland. He was a longtime Chester Twp. resident.
Paul was a member of the Church of Saint Anselm in Chester Twp. He enjoyed hunting, traveling, carpentry, and remodeling homes. Paul was a teacher, retiring from the Parma City Schools in 1992.
He formerly taught in the Cleveland Schools, and prior to that, ran his own construction company.
He is the husband of Antoinette "Toni" (deceased); father to Mark J. and Brian (Denise); grandfather to Brandon; brother to June (deceased), Ann (deceased), and Ernie (deceased); brother-in-law to Rosetta (Joseph, deceased) Sapanaro and Carmella (Santo, deceased) Barborotta; uncle to Larry (Nancy) Sapanaro, Daniel (deceased) (Lynn) Sapanaro, Dennis (Adeline) Sapanaro, and David Sapanaro; and great-uncle to many great-nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Rd., Chester Twp. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, May 11, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Saint Anselm, 12969 Chillicothe Rd., Chester Twp. Burial at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.
