Nick Ferrando

Nick Ferrando, age 85, passed away peacefully June 17, 2023 at his residence. Born October 29, 1937 in Italy, he was a longtime resident of Chester Twp. Nick loved to sing especially Elvis songs. He enjoyed being outdoors, camping, fishing, and making wine. Nick’s greatest love in life was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Maria (nee Faralli); daughters Roberta (Carmen) Ursetti and Stella Nero; sons Dino (Shannon) and Mario (Michelle); grandchildren Anthony Ursetti, Gabriella Ursetti, Carmella Fantacone-Nero, Dominic Ferrando, Ciana Nero, Michael Ferrando, Nicole Ferrando, and Lauren Ferrando; siblings Mario (Marilyn) and Adele (Ed) Sabo; and brother in law Vincenzo Fasano. Nick is preceded in death by his siblings Ida (Alberto) Rossi, Lucia Fasano, Alfonsino (Fortunado) Amicone, Joe (Maria), Rina (Antonio) DiFranco, Tony Ferrando, and Filomena Ferrando. Family and friends may call at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Rd., Chesterland on Thursday 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial 12:30 pm, Thursday, June 22, 2023 at the Church of Saint Anselm, 12969 Chillicothe Rd., Chesterland. Interment at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.
