Nancy R. Schneider, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, at The Pines at Brooks House in Hiram. She was born April 28, 1933, in San Francisco, Calif. She was a former resident of Chesterland and Middlefield. She was a member of Community Church of Chesterland. She enjoyed sewing and reading current events and politics. She was employed at Osbourn Plumbing and Heating as an office manager for 21 years and retired in 1996. She also worked for the feminist movement. She is survived by her sons, Jack Schneider, Eric Schneider, daughter, Lisa Schneider; granddaughter, Laura Streeter, grandsons, Daryl Schneider, Daniel Fakhoury, Alex Fakhoury. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Schneider.
A memorial service will be Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013 at 4:30 p.m., at the Community Church of Chesterland, 11984 Caves Road in Chesterland. In lieu of flowers, all memorial contributions can be made in Nancy's name to, WomenSafe, Inc, 12041 Ravenna Road, Chardon, OH 44024.
