Kim “Carp” Howard Carpenter, age 70, passed away suddenly on August 5, 2022, in Euclid. Born December 3, 1951, in Cleveland, he lived in Chester Twp. before becoming a longtime Munson Twp. resident. Carp owned and operated Carpenter Homes, building and remodeling homes alongside his son Kim “K.C.” Carpenter, Jr. Carp was an incredibly hard worker, whether in his business or home on his faithful tractor. His greatest joy was spending time with his wife, kids, and grandchildren, particularly playing baseball with his son K.C., supporting the creative career of his son Keith, and helping and cheering on his daughter Kara at her horse shows. His other greatest joy was baseball; whether it be playing, coaching, or watching, he gave it his all and enjoyed every minute. Carp is survived by his wife Debbie; sons Kim “K.C.,” Jr. (Jill) and Keith; daughter Kara Frances Carpenter; and grandchildren Tatum and Teagan Carpenter. He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Frances (nee Woichowski), and sister Lila (Don) Cline.
