She was born November 19, 1952 in Philadelphia, PA. She has been a Chester Twp. resident since 1984.
Joanne was a Eucharistic Minister at the Church of Saint Anselm in Chester Twp., and enjoyed vacationing with her family near the ocean, specifically on the South Jersey shore and the Outer Banks.
Joanne was a passionately dedicated nurse, and over the course of her 44-year career, she primarily cared for children in the Neonatal Intensive Care Units at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital, Mt. Sinai Hospital, Huron Road Hospital, and Hillcrest Hospital. Joanne also loved being involved in the Stork's Nest program, educating underprivileged expectant mothers and their famillies about prenatal and newborn care.
Survivors include her husband, Robert R.; sons, Timothy (Heather), Robert R., II (Megan), and Christopher M. (Evva); grandson, Tucker J. Romick; mother, Therese Zaborowski; brothers, James, Robert (Debbie), Stephen (Cindy), Francis, and Richard (Cheryl) Zaborowski; nephew, Alexander Zaborowski; and niece, Michaela Zaborowski.
She is predeceased by her father, Joseph Zaborowski; and brothers, Michael and Joseph Zaborowski.
Visitation is Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Rd., Chester Twp.
Funeral Service is 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at the Church of Saint Anselm, 12969 Chillicothe Rd., Chester Twp. Burial at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.
