Janina "Jasia" Antczak, age 71, a Chester Twp. resident for 40 years and former Mentor resident, passed away at her residence on November 10, 2016. Janina was born in Poland June 9, 1945, and was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of the Church of Saint Anselm in Chester Twp. A homemaker, she enjoyed art, interior and fashion design, cooking, sewing, and traveling. Janina's greatest devotion was to her family, and she especially loved being a mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Stanley M.; son, Robert (Cynthia); grandchildren, Samantha and Matthew Antczak; sister, Christine (David) Wallace; and many other relatives throughout the United States and Poland. She was preceded in death by her parent, Jozef and Maria Jezioro. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 15, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Rd. in Chester Twp. A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 16, at the Church of Saint Anselm, 12969 Chillicothe Rd. in Chester Twp. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Janina's name may be made to Cleveland Clinic Cancer Research or to Cleveland Clinic Hospice at Home, 9500 Euclid Ave., P.O.
