He was born to the late Richard and Marie (Corcoran) Crowley on October 24, 1930, in Brockton Massachusetts. James received a BS from MIT in 1953 and an MBA from The University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business in 1956. James also served as a Lieutenant in the United States Army Corp of Engineers in post war Japan.
James married Therese Ann Crowley in 1954 they lived in Philadelphia, and Hartford before settling in Newbury. During his life James founded two companies; Technolab and Crowley Company; now Multi-Wing America in Burton. James devoted much of his time to build Multi-Wing into the strong company it is today. He also enjoyed traveling the world visiting Europe, Asia, Australia and exotic places in North America. In his later years James enjoyed square dancing.
James is survived by his brother Thomas of Brockton MA, four children, James (Constance) and William (Rebecca) of Chagrin Falls, Mary Crowley of Newbury and John (Laura) of Russell. He is also survived by eight grandchildren. James was preceded in death by his wife Terese (Walsh) and brother Richard. Friends may call at GATTOZZI AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 12524 CHILLICOTHE RD.
