HENRY JAMES "Tip" TIMPERIO Jr., of Chesterland Ohio, passed away peacefully at his home on August 26th, 2016 at the age of 77. Beloved son of the late Henry and Olga Timperio (nee Iadisernia) and brother to the late Laura Timperio, beloved husband and best friend to Patricia Marie (nee Dusek), loving father to Gina, Angela, and son-in-law Bob, Grandfather to Samantha, Bobby, and Annalise. Tip was a kind, gentle man; a loving friend and brother to many. Tip had a varied and interesting life. As a young boy, he grew up in Little Italy, then moved to Chesterland near family. He was a brilliant man, self-taught in many fields. Tip started his own potato chip business, "Tippy's Chips" before joining the United States Armed Forces European Branch as a Military Policeman in his early twenties. He was a very ambitious, hard driven man who was always challenging himself with new ideas. After the service, he started another venue with floor cleaning using his own chemical formulations. This was the beginning of his continued interest in his self-disciplined work as a formulating chemist. He built a large mixing and filling machine to make and bottle laundry soap, dish soap, and hair shampoos. He was so talented. He was a machinist and welder at General Electric. Tip was a multi-faceted person and had the capability to embark on the most interesting of conversations with all walks of life. After work, he enjoyed boxing and weightlifting.
