PAMELA JEAN GIBBS

Pamela Jean Gibbs, 68, passed away at her home in Grafton, VT on Feb. 27, 2014, from a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Pam was born on July 23,1945 in Brattleboro, VT to Norman and Irene Pomfrey. She graduated from Bellows falls Union High School in 1963.

Pam went on to marry the love of her life, Ronald Gibbs, on June 26th,1965. Pam was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to read

and do crossword puzzles. she worked for the Vermont Country Store and the Grafton Village Cheese Company for several years.

She is survived by her husband Ronald Gibbs of 48 years; Two sons, Samuel Gibbs and wife Christine of Walpole, NH and Scott Gibbs and wife Sabrina and children Lexi and Sydni of Athens, VT; One daughter, Laurel and husband Jeremy Benoit and children Autumn and Carter of Westmoreland, NH; She is also survived by her mother Irene Pomfrey of Townshend, VT; Two brothers, Richard and wife Nancy of Hinsdale, NH and Paul Pomfrey of Brookline, VT; She also leaves several cousins, nieces and nephews. Pam is Predeceased by her father Norman Pomfrey.

The Graveside Committal Service and Interment will take place on Sunday June 1, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Houghtonville Cemetery, Grafton, VT.
