He was a pre-k student at Grace Baptist Academy. Schaeffer was active at Covenant Presbyterian Church in various programs and activities including John Arbuckle’s Sunday School Class where he was described as a vibrant young learner. He loved playing soccer and swimming. He enjoyed life to the fullest and it was not uncommon to see Schaeffer dressed up as a super-hero, an animal, or any other character he could transform into.
Schaeffer especially enjoyed playing with his big brother and cousins as well as helping care for his little brother.
Survivors include his parents; brothers, Taylor Fisher and Knox Fisher of Chattanooga; maternal grandparents, Mary & Dr. Steve Euler of Chattanooga; paternal grandparents Mary Jean & Fred Fisher of Ball Ground, Georgia; great-grandmother, Virgnia "Bobo" Willson of Newburgh, Indiana; aunts and uncles, Dr. Steven Euler of Memphis, Tennessee; Peter (Laura) Euler of Belleville, Illinois; Elizabeth (Tommy) Dull of Middletown, Rhode Island; Rhee (Stewart) McCallum of Ball Ground, Georgia; and cousins, Bailie, McKenzie, and Lincoln Dull; Stafford, Reed, and Kelsey Euler; Abigail and Katelyn McCallum.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church with Dr. Render Caines officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2015 at the funeral home.
