Wanda Davis, 71, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away Friday, December 9, 2011 at her residence. A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, she was a member of the Silverdale Baptist Church and also the Order of the Eastern Star #359 Sunnyside Chapter. She served as President of the Rebelette Bowling League and was an Avon Distributor for 35 years. A daughter of the late Leamon Monroe and Clara McMillen Stringfield she was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Bob Bolden and three sisters, Katherine Boone, Betty June Belvin and Judy Ann Lowe. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Larry Davis; three daughters, Suzettee Davis and fiancé Brian Perry, Denettee Bolden and Annettee Davis all of Chattanooga and her fiancé Chris Tuft, Richfield, UT; two grandchildren, Joshua Davis and Kendall Bolden; brother, Leamon Monroe Stringfield, Jr., Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4-8 Sunday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
