Tommy was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and uncle. He was an avid storyteller, who loved to make people laugh. Tommy's favorite place to be was the flea market, where he was known as the tool man. He served in the U.S. Air Force for four years, where he learned the skills to pursue his career as an electrician.
Tommy was survived by his wife of 55 years, Joyce Green Evans; daughter Angela Elliott; granddaughter Alex ( Josh) Clayton; sister Martha ( Johnny) Gibson; son-in-law Butch Elliott; several nieces and nephews.
Tommy was preceded in death by parents Floyd and Annabell Evans; brother Ernest Evans.
A graveside for Tommy will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 10 am.
